Welcome to Crossplayer, the first result of the collaboration between H20 and Catholic News Service.
This page walks you through the player and its features and explains how it works.
Crossplayer has four sections: video, audio, still images and text.
By default it is set to show the video section.

On the screen of the player you will see the latest video we uploaded.

Below the main window there is a bar containing a list of available videos (you can scroll by using the arrows). By clicking on its thumbnail you will launch any video in the main screen.

Also notice that when your mouse over a video thumbnail, title and date of the video will reveal itself.

By clicking on 'Menu' (top right hand corner) you can access the navigation panel.

From here you can navigate the various sections of the player.

By default the language is set to English, but some of the content is available also in other languages.

Just select the language you prefer from the drop down menu at the bottom of the navigation panel and, automatically, the player will upload all the content available in the selected language.

Crossplayer also contains a web cam that shows St. Peter's square 24 hours a day.

By clicking the icon 'Vatican live' you access the web cam.

When the pope is having a public meeting, like the Angelus every Sunday, this webcam turns into a web TV and shows the live broadcast operated by CTV (Vatican Television Center).

Go back to the player at any time by clicking 'Player' on the top right hand corner.

By clicking 'Audio' in the navigation panel you have access to the audio section of the player.

The page appears as a list of podcasts or audio files with date, title and a short description.

You can scroll through this list by using the arrows, then select the audio you want to listen to just by clicking on it.

By clicking 'Text' in the navigation panel you have access to the stories section of the player.

The player will list the stories currently available, with date, title and description (just like the audio section).

In order to read the full text of one of these stories, just click on it and the player will show that story.

This is the screen from which the player displays a story.

By clicking 'Photo' in the navigation panel you have access to the photo section of the player.

The photo in the main screen is the most recent one uploaded to the player.

Below, a list of thumbnails shows the photos currently available, by clicking on any of them you will uploaded on the main screen.

Rolling the mouse over a photo thumbnail will reveal the title and date of the photo.

By clicking the icon showing a magnifying glass, a new window will display the photo in original size.
